Why does firefox consider "roleplay" mispelled?
Because it isn't in the dictionary. 33%  33%  [ 1 ]
Because Firefox is jealous of RI. 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
Because we roleplayers are actually a secret organization bent on world domination--to keep the public from discovering the truth, we had to "erase" all those Firefox programmers who attempted to add it. 33%  33%  [ 1 ]
Because "roleplay" is actually a bad word that makes grandma cry. 0%  0%  [ 0 ]

Here's a bit of an inquisition:

I have, like many of us, drawn on outside resources to develop ideas and such. In this way, I've crafted some roleplays that have references to these things. To clarify (as I seem to be dancing around the subject), I've a roleplay that uses magic and summons and such like in the Final Fantasy series--only, these things are changed around to suit general Fantasy setting to accompany those that are unfamiliar with the series.

- Would such a roleplay go in the series related or fantasy forums?
++ The roleplays hardly, if ever, follow a FF plot. They are generally free of canon characters, but may take place in a setting based on a FF world.

On a different tangent, you have no basic inquiries thread. o_O; I didn't think my question belonged because of the description, but I couldn't find any suitable replacements...

That's actually a good point, to the questions thread so I'll sort that out soon and hopefully have something up and running tomorrow. If not I'm sure Maestro will.

As for your other question about where the roleplay should go. I'd say Fantasy. But, saying that, because it has two elements in, it could also go in the Everything Else section. Hope that helps.

Well, like SI said, I'd go ahead and put it in the Fantasy section. Even if it takes things from FF, it's not directly part of the series, so, technically, it's not "Series-Related". Hope that helps.
